As a registered dietitian, I get a real sense of satisfaction when I can help people to achieve their goals and my registration with the health care professions council means that I am obligated to ensure that my practice is evidence based and safe.

I believe that success with regards to nutrition comes from having a good understanding of why you are doing what you are doing and how to do it well. At Turners Nutrition and Fitness, I work with clients on a one-to-one basis or in group settings to help people to decipher the headlines, dispel the myths and ultimately eat for health (and for this there is no one-size fits all). I don’t believe in fads or quick fixes. Starvation is never necessary!! My aim is to help you to eat for health and enjoy food.

As well as seeing clients on a freelance basis, I also work in the NHS as a senior dietitian. I have previously worked as part of a research team at the University of Surrey within the field of cancer and nutrition.

In my spare time, I love to experiment with flavours and recipes. I enjoy keeping fit and keeping my family fit and healthy too!

I truly believe that living a healthy lifestyle has a major influence on so many other areas of your life.
